Welcome to Life Is Your Best Medicine!
I am so happy that you have chosen to join us for what I hope will be an informative and inspirational journey to a healthier you. The course is divided into seven sections and was designed to be taken in order from beginning to end, as each section builds upon curriculum presented in previous sections. However, you are free to move around the course as you choose. While the course was designed to be completed over a 6-8 week period, you have access to the material for one full year, so don’t worry if you choose to spend more time in any given section.
Each section has a series of videos and lectures, downloadable handouts, and “dig deeper” resource pages with recommendations for websites, TED talks, books, audio books, etc. that I have found to be particularly useful over the years with my patients. At the end of each section is a “challenge,” or an invitation, to choose one area that you would like to work on based upon the course material presented. In building this course, I found myself adopting better habits, challenging myself to be a healthier version of myself. Like you, I am a busy person, and I often end up putting off those things that could make a big difference in my energy, sleep, mood and fitness. But this is where transformation begins, when you apply what you know to what you do.
For in truth, it is the everyday stuff of our lives that affects our energy, health, outlook, joy, and wellbeing. And there is no better time than now, to set your feet firmly upon your medicine road and be fully engaged in this wondrous precious life you have been given.
